Multi-Channel Neuro Coil

Novel Neurological Coil designed for the neuroscientist. The design optimizes image signal to noise alongside parallel imaging capability while allowing open access for both visual and audio communications.

• Allows parallel imaging with a reduction factor of 2 in either direction.
• Close fitting with an open structure to maximise signal to noise in the brain while minimising claustrophobia.
• Excellent access for fMRI accessories.
• Double the signal to noise within a large fraction of the brain compared with that achieved from a 27cm birdcage coil.
• Integral low input impedance preamplifiers minimizing coil-coil coupling.
• Available at 1.5T, 3T, 4T and 4.7T, and can be configured to be compatible with head gradient coils as well as for whole body systems
