Lesion coordinates are retrieved from a relevant MR image
showing the 5 fiducial markers and transferred to the MIA
software.
Software supports calculation of the location for needle
insertion, identifying the appropriate hole in the acrylic plate to
use, and the required insertion depth.
Optional DICOM software allows lesion coordinates to be
specified by placing the cursor on the lesion in relevant MR
images.
