Multi-nuclear surface coils

Rigid and Flexible Surface Coils at 3.0T 4.0, and 7.0T (or 1.5T)

Coil sizes: 6cm to 20cm.

Single or dual coil configuration

Standard nuclei include: 31P, 13C, 19F, 23Na

Exhangeable fiducial option. All rigid coils are fitted with a fiducial pocket such that the fiducial can be exchanged by the user.  Fiducial containers are provided that can be filled by the customer.

For example:

• Flexible or shaped surface coils for neuro studies.

All coils allow use of the 1H body coil while the surface coil is in-situ. ¹⁹F and ³He coils have active detuning, while coils for all other nuclei use passive methods to minimize coupling with the body coil.

Interfaces: Philips and Varian. With Siemens, GE, and Bruker in development.
