Dual tuned coil for 13C or
31P research on the liver

PulseTeq offers two styles of dual tuned coils, one with a 7cm coil offering a range of research applications inlcuidng in the leg, the brain and abdomen. The second with a 12 cm coil specifically targeted at spectroscopy research applications in the liver.

Both these coils have the following features:

  • High sensitivity primary surface coil for 13C or 31P
  • Quadrature 1H coil
    • Optimised for decoupled spectroscopy
    • Designed for minimised SAR
    • Suitable for imaging beyond the coverage of the primary coil.
  • Robust desgin, no manual tuning required
  • Multiple applications
  • Integrated exchangeable fiducial (see below)
  • Velcro attachment straps
  • External alignment indicator
  • Interface with Philips and Varian. Siemens and GE are in under development.

Multi-nuclear RF Coil with 1H decoupling and exhangeable fiducial markerExchangeable fiducial: the recess shown in the photograph below houses a fiducial marker. This can be accessed and

exchanged with our fiducials with different content for differing protocols by the user.
